The Serenity of Silence

~~~
Thoughts are like a wave…once they start moving, they can disturb the serenity of the sea. Listen to the silence. Hear the still small voice within. Be at peace. Rest.
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39 NKJV)
~~~

Have a peaceful weekend…see you Monday.

  1. as energetic as my personality can be, it’s when I’m still that I feel the most peace. It’s when I’m quiet that I feel Him.

    Beautiful, beautiful post, LeRoy.

  2. Enjoy your weekend!

  3. “Peace, be still,” I say to my heart at dawn and in the twilight. I stretch my soul to hear the voice of my Father more and more each day. Bless you, dear Butch and have a fabulous weekend.

  4. One of my most favorite Biblical phrases–”Peace be still.”
