Where Did You Come From?

A conversation with self…

~~~
 Did you create yourself?
Did you invent your soul?
Did you design your intricate body?
 No?
 Then who created you?
Who gave you a soul?
Who designed your intricate body?
 A big bang?
 An explosion?
 Are you serious?
 Have you ever saw the aftermath of one?
 ~~~

 Evolution?

 Really?

 You came from some slime in a stagnate pond?

 No?

 Who, then, created you?

 ~~~
 Maybe…God?
 You think?
 Isn’t that the only answer that makes sense?
 ~~~

Self likes the “God” answer

  7. Great post, LeRoy. Reminds me of a conversation I once had with someone who was pro-abortion. She was reading a pro-life editorial column and got all hot and bothered. Talking about pre-born children, she said something along the lines of, “It’s not a human being yet.”

    My first reaction was sarcasm, but I held my tongue and prayed for God’s words. Surprisingly, He greenlighted the smart-aleck retort that had come to mind, so I said, “So, what is it then? A toaster?” When she looked up from the paper and started to protest, I added, “Genetically, that child is a human being. Just because it’s not yet viable outside its mother’s womb, that doesn’t make it any less human.”

    It’s amazing how we let the devil deceive on such matters. Lord, open our eyes.

Thank you for your thoughts.
