While I was pounding the nails…
Jesus was forgiving me.
When His eyes met mine…
Jesus was forgiving me.
When He smiled at me…
The hammer fell from my hand.
Why me, Jesus…I am not worth it…
What good am I…look what I have done

Beautiful, just beautiful! He is a lovely God isn’t He? I came in from service today on cloud nine, such peace, such joy is in my heart. Just to think of this great and loving Savior who loves *me* – it takes my breath away.
Blessings,
Rebecca
Amazing Grace.
It is not about who we are, but who He is. It is not about what deeds we do, but what He did on Calvary and from out of the grave and in sending us the Holy Spirit–and how He will come again!
powerful!
Thank you for writing this. I am reminded of the words of Isaiah the prophet: “Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.”
His grace is a beautiful thing, he chose us first, and called us by name! He knows us personally and what we will become…a true blessing to many! Your poem depicts the beauty of that encounter! May your day be full of blessings and hugs my brother!
It’s a good question. One everyone struggles with.
