…He leadeth me beside the still waters.
It is a “hurry up” world we live in. The treadmill awaits us the minute we get out of bed. Things to do…places to go…people to see…got to go…hurry up…grab a sandwich…gulp some coffee…run…time’s a wasting…
If you just found yourself in any part of the above paragraph, it might be time to consider some changes. Life is brief as it is…that pace will only make it briefer. Is it worth it?
Just some quiet thoughts over coffee as I listen to the birds greet the day.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures…
He leadeth me beside the still waters…
He restoreth my soul

The clamor of the day, another weapon in Satan’s toolbox used to divert our focus from The One in control of it all.
Keep the Faith!
This resonates with me so much ~~ especially after the recent loss of a dear love and friend! Thank you!
Beautiful thought, Butch. I’ve found that starting my day in prayer, and asking the Lord to lead me often works wonders for the pace of the day.
I pray that all is alright with you, and that you and your family are doing well.
