Words and slogans are outwardly impressive.
Read and hear a phrase long enough and you begin to believe it.
In the sum of things, it is not what a nation thinks, but what God knows.

In ’85, a somber air rose within me, that of the demise of our country. The once shining star among nations, blessed by God, was falling to earth, in a flaming spiral, the tail smoking as it hit the ground.
It is now 2012, the dying embers smolder, almost gone. What God created, man has sullied and turned into cinders. It is almost time…
I stand at attention, I salute the once proud nation, I thank God for His blessings and ask His forgiveness for our ingratitude…and the tears flow…the heart weeps…and the spirit fails.
