As a Christian, I have the tendency to look at my weak moments as negatives. I strive to be strong, to stand on the mountaintop, to gain the victory. Then the Holy Spirit reminds me that my weakness is God’s strength. It is then that I reach out to Him; it is then that I step aside and let God take over.
It is through my weakness that I find my strength is in Him. I can stand on the mountaintop and gain the victory…through Him.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
(2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV)
A comforting thought.
When I am weakest, He is able to shine through me the strongest!
Thank you for this reminder. I tend to ruminate over both my own mistakes and the mistakes of others. I really needed this. Jesus is so kind to us, isn’t He?
