Don’t Worry About Anything

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. (Phillipians 4:7)

Worry is the enemy of the soul.

Prayer is the path to peace.

If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:8)

  2. This really hits home with me. I’ve been worrying about several things of late, last night I got on my knees and gave all of them to Him. The peace I felt was immediate. You’re so right, Butch, “Worry is the enemy of the soul. Prayer is the path to peace.”

    You’re a blessing to me,

So true, but oh so hard to do! Lord give me grace!

  4. Man, did I need to hear this today. You’re spot on, Thanks.

  5. One of my all-time favorite Bible promises. :O Alleluia!

  6. Thanks for the reminder, Butch. My boat is rocking at the moment, but since Jesus is riding in it, I need not worry about the wind and the waves. :)

  7. It’s true that we can learn something new every day. Today I learned that “worry is the enemy of the soul.” Never thought of worry this way.

  8. That really is the way to live above life’s limitations and worries. In making our requests known to God, we express our faith. We let Him know that we believe that our limitations can change. And ofcourse, change they will.

Thank you for your thoughts.
