A Mirror to the Soul

For the word of  God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

The Bible contains the scriptures, which are God inspired thoughts to us. Faith is the key that unlocks their wisdom. The scriptures are a mirror to the soul. The truth of the scriptures will show you where you stand in comparison to where God wants you. You can deny the truth, but the truth will not deny you.

  2. Impacting! His Word does not come back void!! Thank YOU Lord!

  3. Good Word. The Truth will set you free.

  4. “You can deny the truth but the truth will not deny you.”

That is a powerful statement and carries a most comforting message! I hope I never forget it.

  5. Thanks for catching that, Traci. Guess it was a sleepy morning.

  6. Excellent thoughts, Butch. Thanks for sharing. Quick editorial note: The opening of the verse got out of order somehow. “God is quick, andFor the word of” is how it reads, instead of “For the word of God is quick, and”.

Thank you for your thoughts.
