The Christian Life

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live ; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20)

The Christian life is a perfect life. We may be Christians, but we are not perfect. Bottom line is simple; we cannot live a perfect life…in our own strength. Just as faith is given by God, so the Christian life is lived by Christ in us.

No more than we could save ourselves, can we live the Christian life in our own efforts and strength. Christ is the only one who can. We must step aside and allow Christ to live the life through us. “Let go…and let Christ.”
