Lay Those Burdens Down

E

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.”*

Life’s path can be rough and rocky at time. Responsibilities and concerns can be overwhelming. There are times when the burden can be too heavy to bear. There are times when running away from it all is tempting. Maybe, today is one of those times. Maybe, it has become all that you can take.

If this is where you’re at, then I say…

“Lay those burdens down!”

Give them to Jesus.

~~~
Can I get a witness?
Do I hear an Amen?
~~~

*Matthew 11:28 NKJV

  4. AMEN again! God has so many good things to give to us if we don’t cling to things He hasn’t given.

  5. Been there many times; and somehow did not know how to put that burden down. If we are all honest with ourselves, there are many who may enjoy carrying around that burden and saying “woe is me” when all that is necessary is to pass it on over to Jesus!
