And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? (Exodus 3:11 KJV)
We, as Believers, read the words above. We imagine the scene in our mind. We see the same portrayed in an epic movie. We believe the conversation between God and Moses took place, yet, do we ever really think about the scene.
Do we consider Moses beyond us, as if we, as Believers, are not in his league? If that be true, then who are we to even consider talking to God as Moses did? Maybe, we need to focus in a different way.
If we look at this Moses in the Bible, we will find that he was no different than we are. He had his faults, his excuses, his intellectual reasoning that God had to get passed. The thing is, Moses did not want to be the Moses God saw. He did like we do, at times, not want to be what God wants us to be. You see, Moses and us…well, we all are simply Believers.
We ought to give this some thought the next time I AM speaks to us.
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14 KJV)

It does seem easier to say, “Hey I’m unworthy and ill equipped God so you might as well recruit someone else.” Not the answer He is looking for. With HIM – ALL things are possible!

I enjoyed this Butch, and it is something we need to think about far more than what most of us do.
