Always the Need for More

OFor the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength. (1 Corinthians 1:25 NIV)

In this life, to be strong is preferred; to be wise is desired (even if it’s only in our eyes). We lift to acquire; we study to attain; yet appear as a gerbil on a wheel.

No matter what goal is reached, it doesn’t satisfy. There is always the need for more. There is always that lack of completeness…until we kneel at the cross.
