The Faith of a Child

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

I encourage you to read the 11th chapter of Hebrews. Repeatedly, it is written, “By Faith…” not by sight or understanding. God’s definition of faith is noted in the first verse.

“Without faith, it is impossible to please God…” How many prayers ask God to “show me…”? What about walking by faith, not by sight? What about trusting in the Lord with all your heart and not leaning to your own understanding?

If you read the Good Book, even for a short while, you will pick up on the fact that “Faith” is key to a relationship with God. Like a child, God wants us to trust Him. Trust with a child-like faith. Selah!
