Catholic BibleA book, usually with a black cover, that is familiar to all is the Bible. Many refer to this book as the word of God. This book that most buy for various reasons can be found everywhere. Many are well-worn from use…many are still like-new. The word of God; many believe, many doubt, many don’t care. What about you?

  4. I cherish that book, whether its cover be black, burgundy, brown, or even if it comes in an ebook. Its words are life. They sink to the depths of my soul and shape my very existence.

  5. While reading this Deuteronomy 30 came to mind:

11 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 2 It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 13 Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

The Word of God is most beneficial when it’s applied to our lives. Thanks again for an on-time word Butch!
