A Tall Order

…“love one another as I have loved you.” John 15:12

God loves us to the ultimate…He asks us to do the same, one to another. Think about that. Sounds good…we say it over and over, but to do it…no exceptions…no favorites…no preferred…but to apply it to everyone…

a tall order.

good thought….we seem to miss the point too often…..that love thy neighbor as thyself….is much deeper than it sounds…we need to love each other as he loves us!

  4. Good Word Butch – I just added a resource to my website listing all the one anothers of the New Testament. We need to learn to love, since that is the most Christlike we will ever be. You can find it here if you are interested – http://anotherredletterday.com/one-anothers (feel free to remove if you don’t like links in your comments.)

  7. Romans 5:5 Is my favorite! It has empowered me to love (and to forgive) when I thought it impossible to do so. “…the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost who is given unto us.” Truly, God’s love conquers all. Jesus is Victor!

  8. Tall, but necessary. Love God. Love others. It’s just that simple. In that simplicity is great peace. Sandy
