Mix with Water

Human nature prefers a watered-down version of the Bible…

one to where they can feel religious, but not condemned.

It’s like trying to have your cake and eat it too.

We all know that doesn’t work.

  1. I would have thought that some of the Bible needs to be classified as no longer relevant except for being part of the historical setting. In places it is racist, tribal and contradictory. Surely we don’t still have to stone people to death for so-called acts of disobedience against the laws and customs of the ancient Israelites, many of which are definitely at odds with Jesus’ injunctions. In other places it has virtually nothing to say at all about modern problems eg genetic engineering, modern weapons of mass destruction, bioethics etc

  2. So very true…your message speaks loud and clear!

  3. Steven Sawyer

They also like watered down sermons and messages. E.G. Joel Osteen. What a satanic fake.

  4. This moral relativism is one of the biggest problems society faces today. And even religious leaders are not immune from its lure. God bless!

Thank you for your thoughts.
