Count Your Blessings

When things aren’t going so well and it seems like the sun will never shine again, it is time to focus on the blessings in your life. Focusing on the negatives of life only make them appear greater and stronger. To remember ones blessings is necessary in dark times. The darkness passes, the clouds roll away and the sun shines again.

“…give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

(1st Thessalonians 5:18 NIV)

  3. Last week, while I was in D.C., a colleague was raced to the E.R. with chest pains (I rode along). He’s ok, but the same thing happened at the state Capitol today. Tonight, I embraced my workout with a renewed passion. Why? Because I can. 🙂

  4. Great point sir! Sometimes we are so close to a blessing from God but we focus too much on the problems and we miss the blessing. The proper perspective to have is much more long term rather than short term. The long term perspective will get us through the immediate obstacles! God bless! I look forward to seeing your posts on my wall everyday since you seem to have much wisdom!
