If you fall down in your Christian walk, you are not a failure; you are not unworthy. Getting back up from whatever your fall was and continuing your walk is what your Heavenly Father expects from His child. He waits for you with arms open wide.
I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14 NIV
He is always with us! I know, He has saved me from myself a countless number of times. I fall, and He helps me up by holding my hand and whispering words of love and encouragement softly in my ear. ❤ Blessings ~

It’s not our failures that define us but rather our resilience. I’m starting to understand why so many people like your blog Butch. It touches upon values that we hold so close to ourselves. Keep it up!

God is a God of today and right now. He doesn’t want us concerning ourselves with the how many times we fall. He is the lamp unto our feet.

Yes…he waits for us as we fall and then lovingly guides us to continue our walk toward him. In my life, I’ve learned that he allows my heart to open slowly and gently, revealing layer after layer that needs healing.
Thank you for your loving posts that inspire me!
