No Explanation Necessary

The Bible is an interesting book that offers direction for our life. Being the Words of God, the Bible has to be in harmony with itself from Beginning to End…from Genesis to Revelation. Scriptures must not be isolated for they work in agreement together.

Did I mention that the Bible is a Spiritual book rather than a book that can be understood and reasoned with the intellect. And I think therein is the problem. Too many readers approach the Bible with their intellect and expect to make sense of it.

God’s ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts…as the scriptures tell us. Call it a disclaimer if you will. The Bible is a Spiritual book and can only be revealed by the Spirit of God. Simply put, with the intellect and reasoning, we will never understand the Truth within the Word of God. It is only with the heart of faith that we can obtain what God wants us to know. (Read 1 Corinthians 2: 6-16).

There are so many thoughts that God has not chosen to reveal and so many scriptures that can be easily misunderstood without the teaching of the Holy Spirit. So, rather than argue or wonder or decide for yourself (intellect) what a scripture means, practice the Faith that God gives you, for without faith you cannot please Him. The voice of Faith always says to God, “No Explanation Necessary.”
