Self-Effort is in Vain

For whosoever shall keep the whole law,

and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

James 2-10

~~~
Human nature prides itself on
self-efforts, self-achievement, self-made, self-help
~.
God wants us to see that we can’t help ourselves when it comes to eternity.
~~~

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

That whosoever believeth on Him

should not perish

but

have Everlasting Life

John 3:16

  1. The picture of Bonnie reminds me of: Our daily walks with Christ. The stick in her hand is like Jesus, removing all the obstacles out of our path….clearing the way for us. If we just hold onto Him. Though I would share this with all. There is a message in everything when God is present.

  2. It’s simple we need Him. We all fall short, but grace and mercy walks in and give us another day to make things right by allowing God to guide us in our daily walk.

    BTW… I love the new look it reminds me of God’s presence all around us including nature. I love nature itself because there are no walls blocking me from Jesus and His people. It’s just open and freely accessible. How are you Butch Dean?

    It’s a beautiful day in Christ..

  5. It takes awhile for most of us to discover what Paul figured out, ‘in me, that is in my flesh, dwells no good thing’.
    God is patient with His children as we learn this lesson.
