The Process

Since the post on June 16th, each day has been a time of rebuilding. The damaged ceilings have come down and soon, new ceilings will be installed and we will be able to occupy our entire home again. The emotions are a bit slower in returning to a better place. The worst part is over, but the memory lingers on.

We are thankful every day that the damage was not greater. We are thankful that we were able to stay in our home. We are thankful that He is with us each moment.

“I am with you always…” “I will never leave you nor forsake you…”

  1. Yes, many things for which to be thankful. Glad repairs are coming along.

  2. I hate that you are having ceiling problems. We had a leak that has done some small damage in our bedroom. Nothing like yours. Our problem is going to be all the (I’m embarrassed to admit this) bat poop from years of bats in the attic. It’s going to be such a mess!

Rebuilding is tough. Trusting for God’s testimony of grace and strength. Ongoing prayers…

So glad to hear rebuilding is going on and as you say you are lucky to have been able to remain in your home. May this be a memory soon and may happier days follow.

  5. I missed your post on the 16th so I didn’t know of the troubles you encountered – it’s amazing the damage water can cause, isn’t it? I am glad you are so calm; your testimony will surely inspire others to remember He’s there for them in rough waters, too.
    Bests to you & Bonnie,

  6. Wow…I can only imagine what you are experiencing. May the Lord continue to bless you and cover your hearts with His peace.

Thank you for your thoughts.
