Fading Memories

Memory fading through the years,
A time, a place, a family dear.
Long ago, their voices heard,
Seldom now, do they occur.

Tears of “once” flood my eyes,
Heart-felt memories saying goodbye,
Remembering now is hard to do,
Can’t recall as I used to.

  1. Thankfully He’s written eternity in our hearts (Ecc 3:11) and once found, can never be lost.

  3. Find those triggers with your senses. A certain smell, taste, sound, feeling. It’s a process I use in acting called sense memory. Vivd language great post
