Leave Them Behind

Good memories are warm fires on a winter’s day. They put the sunshine in our smile. Sometimes, memories are not so good. They bring the cold rain and sadness to our hearts. It is important for us to choose the good memories to take with us in life’s journey.

Memories are like cookies. Many are whole, but some fall apart and are broken. Choosing our memories is like choosing cookies. Like a child, never pick the broken cookies…leave them behind.

  1. In real cookies… I do like the broken ones! Similar to loving the least of these.

  2. Love this little post of yours. Yes, leave the bad ones behind. No reason to carry them with you, they will only bring you forever down. Thank you for a great reminder! Blessings. 🙂

Thank you for your thoughts.
