Our Life

Nobody wants to talk about it and we try our best not to think about it. It’s what happens to others, not us. As we get older, thinking about it comes more often, sometimes, too often. Everyone deals as best as they can.

It knows no age or season: is no respecter of person: is not discriminatory: often, comes unannounced and is very seldom welcomed. It is the most ignored part of life there is, yet it is inevitable for each one of us. Though death will come, it is living that we must focus on.

May we live our life to the fullest, cherishing and appreciating our times and those we know and love.

  1. I agree! I just lost a good friend this past April, she was only 50, cancer came and she was gone within a year. I think watching her has made me realize we need to take every day and cherish it use our time to live it to the fullest and best life.

    • Terri, sorry you lost a good friend to cancer. I, too, lost a lifelong friend to cancer 2 years ago. God bless you in a special way, my sister in Christ.

  2. Amen!

  3. Yes, for the days pass swiftly by.

  4. Amen! Love this! I too, think about life … aging … the measure of our days … http://maryaperez.com/2014/04/28/the-measure-of-days/
