The Journey

Life is often thought of as a journey and can be as varied as the individuals involved. In common for all is the challenges and surprises around each bend in life’s road. Some rise to the occasion; others falter by the wayside.

Robert Frost penned the line, “Miles to go before I sleep” from his poem, “Stopping By the Woods on a Snowy Evening.” For each of us, the journey is of a certain length. We must find the strength and courage to face the difficulties along the way in order to arrive at our appointed destination.

~ Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint ~ Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV
