Imagine

For a moment, imagine that…

~
All your money is gone save for just enough to get by on. You can no longer just write a check whenever you choose, for whatever you choose. Your budget doesn’t even cover food or gas…just living expenses. So, you buy groceries for two from what’s left after paying bills. Sometimes that’s all of $30. Don’t forget gas…or maybe you just won’t go much.

~
Now just imagine how it would be if you had a lot of money…more than anyone needs. You could write a check for anything, anytime. Forget the budget…there is no lack of money. Yeah, that would be nice. For some this is a reality…for most, it is only a nagging thought on a day when there just isn’t enough to go around.

Being content in all things, something to keep in mind, :).

  2. Exactly where I am right now. Learning to be content with less. My God has always provided and I know he will continue to do so.

  3. I know people in both groups. I work at Launch Ministry in Chaska, MN where we help struggling 18-29 year olds. They literally will have nothing. We are happy when they have a car that works with a heater…so they have somewhere to sleep.

Then just down the street from us is the AutoMotorPlex where people have luxury “condos” for their collections of expensive cars. The cars have a better “life” than the adults (and sometimes their children) we are working with.
