Our Father’s Arms

cropped-dsc01062-copy1.jpgBe careful for nothingbut in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6,7)

I have leaned upon these verses from the Book of Philippians many times when cares and concerns are overcoming my peace of mind. I believe God looks to us as His children. A child knows when to run to the parent when their comfort is threatened. Our heavenly Father knows we will tend to be anxious about things. As a child, we must know when it is time to run and jump into our Father’s arms.

  1. We have a lot of things to seek Him for right now. And reasons to praise HIm. There is peace in the safety and shelter of His arms.
