There Comes a Time

Take a feather pillow up a high tower on a windy day, cut open the pillow and release the feathers into the wind. Then, watch as they scatter to the four corners of the earth. Now, go out and collect all of the feathers and return them to the pillow case so that the pillow is restored.

Impossible! Yes! No matter how hard you try, you will never be able to find every feather and the pillow will never be as it was. So, too, are some relationships in this life. Once altered, they can never be restored…no matter how hard you try. You can forgive and hold no malice in your heart, but there comes a time when you have to let it go and walk away; knowing you did all you could.
