Never Seen “Old” Coming

Through the eyes of youth,

Old is someone else,

Wrinkled and worn.

It’s my parents,

My grandparents…

Not me.

Through the eyes of age,

How wrong could I be,

Wrinkled and worn.

It’s not my parents,

Nor my grandparents,

It’s me.

  1. Me, too! I’m closer to Jesus in so many ways.
