A Still Small Voice

And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:12

We, so often, expect fanfare, writing on the wall, a display of power or a booming voice from heaven to answer our prayers…to show us the way.

Silence is not what we want after requesting…we want an answer. Yet, silence remains.

Without, there is noise; within, a still small voice. If we will not quiet the noise, how do we expect to hear the whisper of a still small voice.

God is not limited to how He responds to His children…it is rather the children who limit the Father.

Your Memories Never Fade Away

Remembering our son, Jon, on this seventh anniversary of his death.

Memory Bears by Bonnie

It has been seven years since our son, Jon, lost his battle with cancer. He is in our thoughts and hearts each day. His ashes were spread off the north fishing pier at the skyway bridge in Tampa. He loved to fish.

As each year passes, heartache finds a bearable place, but never leaves. Grieving lasts a lifetime. We remember Jon in the quietness of our hearts. We remember; we smile through our tears; We thank God for him and the memories we have.

Rest easy, Jon. We look forward to seeing you when our earthly journey is over. You are here with us each moment of each day. Your memories never fade away.

We luv you,

Mom n Dad
