Miss the warm summer days before things got complicated.

 

Miss the moments when everything was simple.

 

Miss the moments in time when life couldn’t get any better.

 

Miss the days of youth when time was on my side.

    I’m with you Butch. A friend who visited me in the hospital after my open heart surgery two years ago told me, “There ain’t nothin’ good about getting old.” I think I’m leaning more and more towards agreeing with him.

    I agree, but I think I enjoy life more now as I’m older than I did when youth was on my side. Age does (eventually) bring wisdom.
