Egoknowitalls

Egoknowitalls (Ego-know-it-alls)

Once upon a time, there were egoknowitalls who roamed about seeking to correct anyone and everyone. As far as egoknowitalls were concerned, no one knew much of anything and what they did know was probably wrong.

Now, there is no particular place where egoknowitalls were found. Everywhere seems to be where egoknowitalls resided and roamed, seeking to correct anyone and everyone.

It would be nice to leave this as a “once upon a time” story, but the sad fact is that in our very time there are many egoknowitalls who roam about looking to correct anyone and everyone.

Watch out for these egoknowitalls, for they will rob you of what you believe, if you let them. The sad fact is that the egoknowitalls don’t know as much as they think they do. Pity them if you must, but give them no ear, for they may have your mind in short order.

Know-it-alls are so aggravating to those of us who do….think about it. I think my ex-father-in-law bagged one of those ego fellas in a state park just South of Birmingham one time. :>)

This is the first thing I read this morning and it’s a great reminder off standing for what you know is true. Many people don’t know, but run their mouth as if they have all the answers to make them feel more important. That’s why it’s important to stay close to God. Let God’s word be true and every man a liar.
    Thank you for your post.

  4. I’m in my early forties, and it seems like I knew much more for sure twenty years ago. I know fewer things with certainty now, but I cling to those few things tenaciously: one of them being that sin corrupts even the best of men, yet Jesus saves even the worst of us.
